During the rutting season usually around October the deer venture out of hiding and can be photographed relatively easily, these wild animals are driven by boosted levels of testosterone and therefore a long lens is required so not to disturb these magnificent beasts. This was taken at Margam Country Park near Port Talbot in South Wales.
