Castillo del Águila o de las Coloradas is the proper name for the small castle that looks out towards the south of the island of Lanzarote from Playa Blanca. It is positioned on a small point of rock and from this angle the layers of volcanic rock can be clearly seen with the layers of multi coloured rock.
